Do you have a wedding to go to this summer? Marie Jones has a fabulous tutorial for you so you can make an extra special card for the bride and groom! This is such a great design you could use it to make a birthday card with too, just change the Mr and Mrs to an Happy Birthday sentiment! Let's get started.Directions:Step 1: Trim a piece of A4 Centura Pearl card to 148mm wide and mark the centre with a faint pencil line. Tape the Die'sire Edge'able Let's Bake die in place on the centre line and tape the corners dies as shown. Die-cut, remove the tape and emboss.Step 2: Score the fold line either side of the cake and rub out the pencil line.Step 3: Cut a piece of gold card to 19cm x 14.5cm. Draw a pencil line 4.5cm from the top and place the 'Let's Bake' die in the centre. Draw around the die above the pencil line. Cut out the cake shape, cutting just inside the line. Place the gold card on the inside of the card, pushing the cake shape through the top to make a backing for the die-cut cake. Glue in place to the inside front of the card and trim any areas around the cake if needed.Step 4: Add gold glitter with a glue pen to areas of the cake.Step 5: De-boss some Centura Pearl card with the Regency Swirl folder and cut to 148mm x 75mm. Wrap ribbon around one side and attach to card front.Step 6: Attach red liner tape at the top and the bottom of the embossed panel and cover with gold glitter.Step 7: Die-cut and emboss the Mr & Mrs die from gold card and attach to centre panel.Step 8: Die-cut and emboss the cake from the gold card. Trim off the cake stand to leave a 3 tier cake. Draw around this piece on white card and cut out cutting just inside the line. Attach to back of gold cake and add glitter highlights.Step 9: Attach to the bottom of the card with 3D glue and tie on two lengths of ribbon to finish.Crafter's Companion Supplies:[gallery ids="9154,9151,8869,9155,9152,9156"] Other Supplies: Ribbon, Gold GlitterWe would love to see what you make!
