Are you starting to make your Christmas cards? Our design team have been having so much fun making theirs! Melanie has been having fun making this pop up box card with these cute gingerbread men! Here is how she made it so you can make one too!
Directions:
Step 1: Take a piece of A4 Kraft card using the cm side of the Big Score Scoring Board, butt the short side of the card against the lip and score 6.5 cm intervals (the small panel is for sticking)
Step 2: Turn the card and butt the long side against the lip and score 3cm all the way along and then at 10cm all along the first 3 panels, miss the fourth and score again on the short sticking panel.
Step 3: Cut away the 3cm panel and set aside the cut down the short sides of the score line down to the middle score line on all the folds. Cut away the top small part of the small sticking panel.
Step 4: Add Tacky Glue to the small panel and stick to the inside of the card.
Step 5: Take the strip of 3cm Kraft card and cut to form “Z” panels with 2cm hinges Fold over on the score lines to form a “Z” shape.
Step 6: Die-cut 4 of the Gingerbread Man Edge’ables from Kraft Card making sure you have extra card at the bottom for sticking and set 2 aside. Using the “Z” panels stick 2 of the Gingerbread Man die-cuts to them, putting them at “jaunty” angles looks go. Now stick them to the inside of your box with equal spacing with your “Z” panels.
Step 7: Now decorating your box with some, don’t forget to do the back of the flaps on the box.
Step 8: Take the two Gingerbread Man die-cuts and carefully cut them away from any access card. You want to be left with just the Gingerbread men. Fold them in half and stick to the bottom corners of the Box, on opposite sides.
Step 9: Finish the card with some embellishments and a sentiment
