Step-by-step instructions:
Box:
-
Download the template from page 18 and print twice onto white cardstock.
-
Use a craft knife to cut out two the template shapes.
-
Cut mats and layers for each panel on the two templates from coloured card and patterned paper. The linen card should be ¼” smaller than the box panels and the patterned paper ¼” smaller than the card. Glue each pair together.
-
Score along the marked scorelines on each template sheet. Fold and build by attaching the two pieces together using the tabs and red liner tape.
-
Attach your mat and layered pieces to the corresponding panels of your treat box.
Decorations:
- Cut two large and four medium flower shapes in white card from the Blossoming Daisies set and blend Ocean Blue ink onto the petal edges. Cut three stamens from yellow card and a selection of leaves and foliage from green card.
- Attach the foliage to the front of your treat box. Layer up the flowers and stamens and arrange on top of the foliage.
- Cut two butterfly shapes from the Spring Accessories set, one in yellow and one in white card. Blend Ocean Blue onto the edges of the white butterfly and layer the two butterflies together. Gently curve out the wings of the white butterfly for a 3D look.
- For your Easter sentiment, cut the E from the Uppercase set and the rest of the word from the Lowercase set. Cut the outline die of each letter in white card and the inner die from yellow card. Layer up each letter, arrange the word and glue in place on the top of your Easter Treat Box.
-
Pop some sweets inside, punch a hole in the top of the box and thread ribbon through the top, tying in a bow to finish!
