Can you use regular dies with the Gemini Midi?

You sure can! The Midi's 6" x 9" die-cutting slot is incredibly versatile and can be used with metal dies, embossing folders and cut and embossing folders so there really is no limit to where your creativity can take you!

This portable powerhouse can cut through four layers of craft cotton, real leather and even craft metal so there really is no limit to where your creativity can take you! Of course it will make short work of thick cardstock, and the larger size means you can try out bigger and more detailed dies to get that first-class finish! Do you need special Gemini Midi accessories?

The Gemini Midi comes equipped with a Plastic Shim and a Plastic Folder so you can get started straight away! The folders are perfectly sized to fit the Midi and will turn your die-cutting experience into an absolute walk in the park! There's no need to worry about plates, simply flip the folder open, pop your dies and embossing folders inside and roll them through the machine for perfect and precise results every time.

If you're working with highly detailed or thin dies, then the Purple Plastic Shim is the fairy godmother you never knew you needed. This adds an extra layer to make the Plastic Folder that little bit thicker which will result in a more precise cut from your dies.
