The Perfect Potions Class Card for Harry Potter Lovers

Whether you're a diehard Potterhead or just want an extra spooky card leading up to Halloween, we've got you covered with this easy craft inspired by the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
Follow along to our instructions below and you'll be sure to inject the spirit of Professor Snape's potions class to your next crafting project.
Here's what you'll need:
- Vintage Halloween: Witches Potions dies and Boo To You stamps
- Spectrum Noir Tri blends – Tan shades, ice grey
- Spectrum Noir Grasshopper
- Spectrum Noir Black Ink
- Potion Green Glitter paste
- Stitched Fancy Rectangle dies
- Sun Ray stencils
- White Card
- Black Card
- Tacky glue, foam pads and dotty tape pen
Step-by-step instructions:
- Create a 5 ½ x 3 ½ inch White card with a left fold
- Cut black card to 5 ½ x 3 ¼ inch – tape pen and secure to card
- Cut white card 4 ¾ x 2 ¾ inch and use Grasshopper ink and water to create a marbled effect
- Use green potion glitter paste and sun ray stencil to create the starburst effect on the card with the grasshopper ink – use tape pen to secure this to the black rectangle on card
- Use fancy rectangle die and white card to create a 5 x 3 inch frame
- Stamp “Bone Jour” on the frame - use foam pads to secure to front of card
- Die cut the skull, cauldron, table and bone on white and black card
- Use the spectrum blends to colour the cauldron and table then use the dotty tape pen to layer the pieces on top of the black cutouts to create a slight shadow.
- Use tacky glue to stick down the table
- Use foam pads to add the cauldron and skull
- Use tacky glue to add the bone to the cauldron
