If you love adult colouring you will love this concertina card from Susanne! Take your colouring pages and create fabulous dimensional cards with them! You can make cards for many occasions, even make sets in different colours and give them as gifts. Just have lots of fun colouring and making cards!
Directions:
Step 1. Using The Big score place A3 Centura Pearl card upright (portrait) on the big score, and score the card at 8 inches.
Step 2. Place the width of card against left edge of big score (box lid) and score at 2 ½ inches, 3 inches, 5 ½ inches, 6 inches and 8 ½ inches.
Step 3. Fold card at the 8 ½ in line and then trim the first score line of 8 inches with a paper trimmer to take off the excess card.
Step 4. Trim the back of the card to match the front concertina edge and then set aside.
Step 5. Choose a suitable floral picture from the Colorista pad and tear from the book. Begin by colouring in the leaves with the lightest Colorista green pen, daffodil. Colour in the entire leaf.
Step 6. Use the darker pear green Colorista pen to add some shadow (a small section of the leaf).
Step 7. Colour over the pear green with the daffodil and blend into the first layer of colour.
Step 8. Take the lightest pink shade (blossom) pen and colour in the flower petals.
Step 9. Take the coral pen and add some shadow.
Step 10. Using the blossom pen, blend over the coral as before (like the leaves).
Step 11. Using orchid add a slightly darker shadow to the coral if you wish and continue to colour in the next layer of the flower with orchid too.
Step 12. Continue using cream, gold and nectarine on other petals.
Step 13. All flowers are now coloured so trim A5 page into 3 equal sized pieces which are just over 4 inches in width each.
Step 14. For added dimension use a Distress Ink around all the edges.
Step 15. Frame each piece by layering with Core’dination’s card.
Step 16. Adhere each piece onto the concertina card. Die cut with love from matching Core’dination card and mount onto distressed Centura Pearl card and then adhere to your card.
