You guys know how much we love a sneak peek, and US fans, we know that you’ve already seen and had a play with this product, but our UK fans are yet to get their hands on it! So if you’re yet to get a good look at the Flower Forming Foam, you’ve come to the right place!
We thought it’d be good fun to share a bit of inspiration around these amazing products ahead of their launch next week, so that by the time your Flower Forming Foam items arrive, your head will already be full of ideas. You’ll be positively clawing at your parcel to get started! Take a look through this post to see some beautiful images, suggestions and information about this marvelous multi media launch.
Yellow works so beautifully with rustic brown and cream shades, so we love this card that features yellow peonies! Just look at how beautifully they pop against those more muted shades.
The smaller flower that you can see at the front has been shaped with the Moulding Ball Tools. These are so easy to use and all you need to do is heat the foam on a craft iron, small home iron or with a heat gun, then push the foam into a sponge with your chosen Ball Tool, rolling and moulding it. This will give you gorgeous, closed cup flowers!
For a more subdued look, try out the pastel shades in the Floral Bouquet Foam Pack. It will give a much softer look to the overall piece, whilst still creating that stand out look that comes along with foam flowers. Just look at the card above!
This card features a bit of fun matting and layering with the Traditional Doily & Border Die. This set of two dies are also perfect for adding a softer feel to a piece, so try using them on invitations or cards for a variety of occasions. They could work particularly well for baby showers.
Remember those Moulding Ball Tools that we mentioned? The card above features florals with extremely tight closed cups, as if they’re just about to burst into bloom, which looks so effective and fun! By adding the extra leaves with the Leaves & Vines Die, you can add even more realism.
We also love that these flowers have just a glimpse of stamens in the centre, and these have been applied with a pokey tool and just a touch of glue. You can choose from 400 Natural White, Floral Bouquet or Metallic stamens to add a realistic finish to the piece, and with 400 in each pack, you’ll have tons to play with!
‘Realistic’ is definitely the theme with this launch, which is why we’ve produced the stamens and ball tools, but we’ve also got another unique tool that gives you another level of definition. The main lily on this piece has had the tips of its petals distressed with the Petal Distress Tool Set.
This is a very easy to use and all you need to do is heat your foam petals on a craft iron, small home iron or with a heat gun, then place it on to the grooved silicone mat. Place the silicone finger tool on to your finger, then roll along the edge of the petal. This will give that incredible, curling effect that you can see here. How amazing does it look?
This is the perfect launch to get involved with if you want to experiment a little bit more and add a unique touch to your papercrafts. There are so many projects that these flowers would look beautiful on, including cards, invitations, scrapbook projects, gift tags, table centrepieces and so much more. You can really let your imagination go wild and delve into crafting areas that you’ve never explored before!
We absolutely can’t wait to see what you create with your Flower Forming Foam, so make sure that you stick around until next week to check it out or show us your makes if you’re lucky enough to have made a purchase already!
