This week we have a gorgeous decorated pillow box tutorial, brought to you by one of our talented Design team members, Lynsey Warren.
You will need:
One pillow box printed from SWALK 1 CD
One short length of ribbon
Two die-cut swirls
One brad
Two retro flower punches
First, score along the dotted lines on your printed pillow box and fold all your score lines, taping the flap to make up your box.
Next punch two large and two small retro flowers from white card. To save card, why not use the off cuts of the card you printed the pillow box on? Ink the edges of your flowers with your coloured ink pad.
Layer up the flowers so the two big flowers are at the bottom, and the smaller ones on top. Angle the petals as shown. Attach a brad through the middle of the flowers.
Spray your flower with water and scrunch the two small flowers up. Pinch the end of each petal on the larger flowers to achieve a dimensional effect.
When the card has dried, spray the flower with Spray & Sparkle Iridescent and leave to dry. Attach the length of ribbon along the front of your pillow box, glue on your die cut swirls and embellish with the flower.
All that’s left is for you to add a little gift and you have the perfect present!
Happy crafting!
